About the Artist

Mission

I describe my art style as "ethereal," using elements of science, nature, spirituality and especially the Divine Feminine. My mission is to reveal the magic, beauty & wonder that we can experience in this world. I use art to show the intricate connections, reflections & patterns found all throughout the Universe and even in ourselves. I hope to ignite awe & wonder for the Universe in anyone willing to see it.

Artist Statement

As a spiritually influenced artist, my interests range from astronomy & astrology, theology & philosophy, to microbiology & quantum physics. My drive to observe, learn & speculate started as a natural curiosity. This then developed into a deeper intuition & belief that I am actually observing myself in the infinite. This is now essential to my art theory & practice.

Science is ultimately the study of spirit and consciousness as it manifests in reality. It's fitting & natural to integrate the two, not keep them separate and distinct. Continuing to explore & experience consciousness and the possibilities of the Universe through science, art, spirituality, etc. has grown within me the need to share the state of curiosity & awe that I feel at both the Universe & life itself.

Art Media

The media that I use include (alphabetically): Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Photoshop, acrylic paint, chalk pastels (Prismacolor), charcoal, colored pencils (Prismacolor), digital photography, glitter, gouache paints, India ink, intaglio printing, laser cutting, lino-cut printing (also known as relief), markers (Sharpies & Tombow), monotype printing, paint pens, paper collage, pencils, pens, silkscreen printing, stencils, spray paints, watercolor paints & MORE!

I also use a 13 inch iPad Pro 2nd generation, primarily on the Procreate art app using the Apple Pencil 2.
